Dreaming in Winter Colour Size:29 ¾ x 21 ⅞ this painting evokes memories ofWatercolour "free painting" session where nothing is planned and just going by feel. I had an idea of the colours to use, and a vague idea of doing a winterscape. The idea was to just look at the blank canvas and go with the flow of creation. I coaxed the paint to drip and pool, and lifted the paint off for the woman's face and the mountain. The northern lights came down to touch the foreground, lending a surreal element to this dreamscape.
