It dates to the Taisho Era. Suitable more for the summer season its thin walls allow the tea to cool faster during the hot summer months. It has a deep clear signature of the potter. This chawan measures 5 1 2" wide at its widest by 3" tall. Having been in storage for 70 years it remains in fine condition.
