I’ve painted on and rubbed away so many times that the colour surface in places has taken on a glowing bronze-like quality
I’m not sure if this is a portrait from life or Levenson’s imagined ideal
this painting is in a different frame than the one illustrated in the catalogue for Christine Woodside's 2021 exhibition Memories Near & Far
he told me that one of the most important reasons for his visit to Portugal was to see
