This is a Japanese bronze Koro or incense burner

cracks or hairlines though there are a few spot of enamel glaze missing

It has been in storage for over half a century and with exception to some missing parts on the rim (see last two pictures)

This large 49" by 61" piece has various shades of indigo blue dye which was applied using a paste resist printing process known as tsutsugaki to create these designs
