The SurferCat Harness is escape proof because it features a shorter back strap by design

The leash has feathers & a bell that are tethered to the recoil on the leash so when kitty is distracted you allow slack on the leash with the push of a button and the feathers drop to the floor- give them a wiggle and kitty comes running towards them

The back strap also swivels from side to side
