整然として無機質な印象とは裏腹に、実際の作品を前にすると、金属の光沢や錆、木の手ざわり、石の重みなど、物質それ自体の大らかな姿を目にすることができます。不揃いなユニットが並んでいることにも気が付くことでしょう。また、本展では知る人ぞ知るアンドレの詩をまとまったかたちで紹介します。タイプライターで断片的な単語を打ち込んで構成されるアンドレの詩は、読むことでも眺めることでも楽しめるものです。彫刻に通ずる空間的、構造的な認識や、文学、美術、歴史、政治など作家自身の幅広い思考が反映されています。
