When filled with a dough consisting of soy flour and sugar it makes a lovely cake

All four drawers run smoothly and have forged iron handles with burnt lacquer finish

This piece has the added special feature of a hidden drawer behind the bottom drawer in the safe

This  is a beautiful hand carved Ranma Hori in the shape of a peacock flying upward and left

pink and green plum blossom as well as golden pine needles

Vintage Japanese Hand Thrown Ceramic Tea Bowl Chawan 5" Obi When filled with a doughThis is a vintage Japanese ceramic bowl known as a chawan (tea bowl) used in Japanese chado (tea ceremony). Showa era or mid to late 20th century. This bowl was hand thrown, hand painted, and high fired for lasting durability. This chawan measures approximately 5" in diameter by 3" tall. Having been in carefully stored or very lovingly use, it remains in very fine condition.
