CROCODILE Hand Puppet ~ Mid 1900s Punch and Judy Rare! trevira velvet This very expressive Royal QueenThe Crocodile is one of the most iconic characters in a traditional Punch and Judy puppet show. Although it fits an adult hand, the small size gives away that this piece was part of a set designed for children. Crafted in Germany around the mid 1900s, it has a nicely hand painted wooden head. The body is finished with a synthetic fabric that resembles leather. Note that the fabric material became stiff with age. Its mouth has an inside handle stick
