Acer palmatum 'Jerre Schwartz' spades & shovels finally dark greenAcer palmatum 'Jerre Schwartz' is a slow growing, cultivar of Japanese Maple, reaching a maximum of 2. 5m x 2m in time (less in a pot), with divided bronze red leaves in spring, which turn to a fresh green in summer, turning bright shades of red and orange before dropping in autumn. This plant loves a moist but well drained soil, in dappled or full shade in quite a wide range of soil types, preferring soils in the slightly acid to neutral range.
