「ブラック・アーク・スタジオ」はダブ誕生の揺籃の地のひとつであるとされる。同時にこの場所は、作者の音楽的アプローチが、視覚的なかたちを獲得した場でもある。そこでは、絶えず更新されていく壁画やドローイングに加え、レコード、楽器、拾得物、ポスター、新聞や雑誌の切り抜き、流用された書籍などによる、変容を続けるアッサンブラージュが展開された。その作品群は、スタジオの建築そのものや内部の家具、さらには自身の生涯やペルソナとも、リゾーム的に絡み合いながら幾層にも重なり合っている。

1978年東京都生まれ。美術家。東京藝術大学建築科を卒業後、同大学大学院先端芸術表現科および、ロンドン大学ゴールドスミスカレッジ、アソシエイトリサーチプログラムで美術を学ぶ。写真、彫刻、ドローイング、それらの相互の関わりを通して、事物への認識を再考している。2016～2018年、プロジェクトスペースstatements共同ディレクター。
