It was in the early 1980s (in my dentists waiting room) that I discovered the iconic British comic 2000 AD, and its popular character, Judge Dredd. It was Cams depiction of the lawman that was my favourite. His masterful rendering of comics, with their combination of sublime layouts, drawing and painting, have made a lasting and indelible mark
