Ageratum houstonianum | Blue Childs apron cottage gardens or naturalistic plantingsOne of the tallest of the ageratums, this frost tender annual, bears fluffy lavender to purplish blue flowers in clusters up to 7 cm across, from late spring to the first frost. Here in Auckland they are perennial. The pollinators love it! Great as a cut flower too. Growing to around 75 cm tall and 45 cm wide, it performs best in full sun, but appreciates some shade from afternoon sun. This rabbit resistant, lovely plant also has the prestigious RHS
