It has Japanese calligraphy on the front as well as a stamp belonging to the artist

Each bowl measures 5 1/2" in diameter by 3 1/3" tall with lid (14 x 9 cm)

Vintage Taiko Drum in Chinese Motifs w/ Stand Sticks Accessories 26"x18" Chawan Overall length: 12" (cm)This is an unusual Taiko drum brought back from Japan in teh 1980's. The top skin is in good, tight condition and it has a very deep sound. It is coated in red lacquer and decorated around the whole circumference. It includes a specially made stand to hold the drum suspended. Includes a case for storage and traveling as wel as several sets of sticks in a case. This drum has been handled with respect and carefully stored in the large traveling bag
