'Dauphin' Ohrringe von Elisabeth Schotte Metall The Japanese designer Rina OnoThe 'Dauphin' earrings are handmade from solid sterling silver and 18ct gold plated. The two golden fish of the earrings almost jump around your ear and form two elegant creoles in their jump. The earrings pay homage to the earring with head of a dolphin from the 4th3rd century BC, now in the collection of the Met Museum. In ancient Greece, the dolphin was a playful motif that evoked Aphrodite, born from the sea, and also her son Eros. It was a symbol
