Le Pianelle: Al Forte DOC 2018, Coste della Sesia Rosso Kate&Kon Cuvee made from 40% Viognier2016 was the first vintage of the second red wine, alongside Bramaterra, from Le Pianelle. It is a fresh, fruity interpretation of the Nebbiolo, Croatina, and Vespolina grapes, with a higher proportion of Croatina. The winery follows the traditional grape variety profile of the Bramaterra region. Spontaneous fermentation is followed by maceration and aging in French oak, as well as one year in the bottle, before the Al Forte is ready for customers
