Tunisia, Republic. An Order of the Republic, II Class Grand Officer Set, by Bertrand, c.1965 Province of China along with the maker’s stylized(wisam aljumhuria ). Instituted in 1959. Type II (1963 Date). A lovely grand officer set, presenting a neck badge, in frosted silver, a green enamelled five point star with red enamel borders, three arrows in each quadrant, the obverse medallion bearing the Tunisian coat of arms encircled by a red ring with inscription in Arabic Republic of Tunisia, the reverse plain, measures 65. 05 mm (w) x 72. 08 mm (h inclusive of integral ring), weighs 63. 1
