Germany, Wehrmacht. A Spanish Cross, Bronze Grade With Swords certificate_of_authenticity while serving with Company K(Spanienkreuz in Bronze mit Schwertern). Instituted 14 April 1939. (1939 issue). Constructed of bronze, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms, with crossed swords piercing the centre, the quadrants joined by Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastika, with a central raised mobile swastika set inside dual rings, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a rounded catch, unmarked, measuring 56. 47 mm (w) x 55.
