Russia, Imperial. An Officer’s Gorget for Distinction Buy Now depicting a set of crossed( ). Constructed of gilded brass, the obverse consisting of a narrow crescent with a ribbed border, bearing a central raised double headed Imperial Russian eagle clutching an orb and sceptre, flanked by a raised Cyrillic inscription " " (FOR DISTINCTION), perforated with two holes for the accommodation of a neck chain which has been lost to time,unmarked, measuring 134 mm (w) x 74 mm (h), in very fine condition.
