Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1939 Clasp to the Iron Cross I Class, Type II, by Steinhauer & Lück Auction Archive marked with the maker mark(Wiederholungsspange 1939 zum Eisernen Kreuz I. Klasse 1914, 2. Form). Reinstituted 1 September 1939. (1940 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a Wehrmacht eagle perched on top of a wreathed mobile swastika, in turn situated above a trapezoidal plaque bearing a raised date of 1939 on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch emanating from a circular
