Germany, Weimar Republic. A Naval Corps Flanders Cross, C. 1925 United Republic of housing the original crescent hanger(Marine Korps Flandernkreuz). Instituted 13 September 1921. A bronze cross paty, the obverse bears a crowned anchor in the centre encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, two upward pointing crossed swords lay between the cross arms, the 12 oclock arm inscribed with Zur See, the 9 oclock arm inscribed with Umbe , the 3 oclock arm inscribed with siegt and the 6 oclock arm inscribed with Im Felde (Undefeated from the ocean to the
