The piping along the crown of the cap, as well as on the top and bottom edges of the cap band are a bright golden yellow Wehrmacht Cavalry Waffenfarbe (branch colour). The fabric spanning around the crown is tight, without signs mothing, and without significant signs of wear or age. The cap band is crafted out of fine dark green
