Germany, Luftwaffe. A Short Range Day Fighter Clasp, Bronze Grade Auction An Iron Cross Second Class(Frontflugspange fr Jagdverbnde in Bronze). Constructed of bronzed and silvered tombak, the obverse with a central winged arrow inside of a laurel wreath joined at the bottom by a swastika, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 75. 44 mm (w) x 25. 90 mm (h), weighing 18. 2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
