Instituted 13 November 1933 by Franz Seldte. (1933 1939 issue). Constructed of silvered tombak with enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc, overlaid by a raised and silvered Stahlhelm insignia, situated above a pair of silvered oak leaves and date of 1919, the revere with a crimped hinge and narrow tapering pinback meeting a rounded catch, bearing an etched unit dedication
