A two piece construction badge constructed of tombac, the border is a half oak leaf and half laurel wreath, the centre is cut out and a spread winged patinated eagle in flight clutching a swastika in its talons is superimposed on the centre , wings extending past the wreathed border, the reverse is plain and bears a barrel hinge vertical pinback with round wire catch and two rivets where the eagle is attached to the obverse,
