Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of a detailed oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a bow tie ribbon, topped by a Bavarian royal crown, with a central depiction of a monoplane flying over a rural landscape, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked KARL PLLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN, with a silver content number of 800, measuring 45. 35 mm
