We’ve found it to be one of the hardiest Nepenthes we’ve ever grown and it grows rapidly in our lowland
Nepenthes truncata has been in cultivation for a long time and has been horticulturally bred a number of times
It incorporates the tubby robustness of sibuyanensis with the characteristic toothiness of Nepenthes hamata
This incredible species comes from Sulawesi and exhibits some of the most dimorphic pitchers of any in the genus
Nepenthes peltata, BE-4025 mass market Nepenthes truncata (d) #1 producesNepenthes peltata comes from Mindanao in the Phillipines. Its quite a variable species in both stature and color but generally produces very robust, tubby pitchers with a very wide mouth. The tendril insertion is peltate (meaning coming from inside the leaf) but plants have to be fairly large to exhibit this characteristic. Its documented to grow from 800 meters to over 1600 meters so its likely tolerant of a wide range of conditions. Weve grown it
