A Scarce Fad Buckle Hold education and philantrophyA Scarce FAD Buckle Die stamped white metal buckle, with pebbled field centering a stylized shovel; the reverse of this buckle features a standard slotted ramp style catch with a steel roll bar and prongs, in very fine condition. Footnote: The FAD organization (German Freiwilliger Arbeitdients), was a voluntary labor service that was the predecessor of the RAD Organization. This style of buckle was worn by all ranks. A scarce buckle.
