Cantina Vietti Barbera d’Alba Scarrone DOCG 2022 sicily the choice of large casksThe grapes for this wine are grown in the steep terraced single vineyard site Scarrone in Castiglione Falletto. The grapevines were planted in 1989. The vineyards soil is made of marl (clay in combination with limestone). The grapes were, afret a short period of cold maceration, fermented in open stainless steel tanks for about two weeks at a temeperature of 26 28C.
