the obverse consisting of a an oval chain wreath
(broken) horizontal pin on back with added period strings
in order to proceed overseas to the French theatre
German, Imperial. A Ten Year Service Clasp, C.1900 Newly Listed War Merit Cross 2nd Class(Dienstauszeichnung). A black gilded iron clasp, the obverse bearing an X in the centre to represent ten years of service, plain reverse, measuring 38. 21 mm (w) x 11. 74 mm (h), very fine.
