The leaves reach huge size and we’ve observed some to be over 4 feet long

This species was recently described and once was designated as “black truncata”

We’ve found it to be one of the hardiest Nepenthes we’ve ever grown and it grows rapidly in our lowland

It exhibits teeth connected to the back of the pitcher lid which often can be observed secreting nectar

The hybrid has only been found on Gunung Trusmadi

Nepenthes vogelii Nepenthes The leaves reach huge sizeThis stunning intermediate species comes from the island of Borneo. The lower pitchers are handsome and elongated with deep purple markings. However, its real forte are the uppers which are funnel shaped with an iridescent striping alternating in shiny purple and lime or cream coloration. Its one of our favorites and is a vigorous grower. Weve grown it in our lowland, intermediate and highland greenhouse with success. The plants for sale are BE 3256.
