In 1777, one Herman Jansen distilled his first malt wine Gin. He called it Jenever, sailors called it "Dutch Courage". Its the granddaddy of London Dry Gin. Two centuries later, in 1950, Jacobus Alfons migrated from Indonesia to the Netherlands. Jacobus, AKA Bobby, loved Dutch Jenever, but concocted his own version to remind him of
