Most examples from this location are much bluer than this. This specimen gives you an idea of what a yellow or green piece of hemimorphite may look like. Hemimorphite is a zinc base silicate mineral, up to 54% zinc, that often forms tabular crystals. However, it can also grow in botryoidal patterns. Some
