A second class breast star six pointed silver star with a silver gilt Maltese star with white enameled arms attached to the obverse, with partially enameled national eagles between the arms of the cross; the reverse plain, with two rivets, with a vertical pinback, and a functional hinge catch assembly; marked 900 and "SILBER"; measuring 73. 0mm; weighing 60. 6 grams; slight enamel flake
