Double headed eagle with a shield on the chest, consisting of blue enamels and the letter F, standing atop a crown in multi coloured enamels, the reverse of the eagle with a second shield dated 1815 on a blue enameled background, all topped by a royal crown on a loop, 31 mm (h) x 16. 6 mm (w), enamels intact, extremely fine condition. Footnote: The Imperial Order of the Iron Crown was founded in 1815 by Emperor Franz I of Austria
