Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central inscription of KRIEGER VERDIENST (WARRIOR MERIT), the reverse with a central monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm I, unmarked, measuring 25. 06 grams (inclusive of ribbon), weighing 9. 1 grams, in better than very fine condition.
