Sergeant Taylor was flying as a tail gunner of a Marauder
Germany, Third Reich. A 1935 “Loyal And True” Event Badge Auction the 1st Punjab Regiment suffered(Abzeichen Treue um Treue Saar). A vertical oval, hollow backed, alloy metal (magnetic) badge in a silver finish, on the obverse is a design depicting two figures joining hands with an eagle emblem behind, there is a part border of oak leaves with the remaining border section an inscription reading TREUE UM TREUE SAAR 1935 (Loyal and True Saar 1935), measuring 27 mm (w) x 37 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition.
