This is a very well preserved, Second War period, Kriegsmarine General Admirals flag, constructed of multi coloured cotton twill. The flag bears a black Iron Cross style Cross Patte, with gold crossed swords at the bottom leg. The left edge features a pocket with a twine rope for attachment. The edge features a handwritten black inscription reading ERIC RAEDER GEN. LUCIUS CLAY and a black stamp reading General Adm. 1,5 x 1,5,.
