In spring the wine was racked and blended in a concrete vat before bottling in late November

very nicely balanced

This wine is known for being strong, complex and dense, and in the finish it gives us a ripe acidity. The strong character of the wine is given by the soil rich in calcareous clay and the south eastern slope of the Wintzenheim vineyard, as well as traditional production methods.
