The handbag consists of a cylindrical woven body sitting upon gold feet, and topped with a rounded gold lid. The lid features a shield shaped turn lock, swirling floral etched designs, and a delicately twisted half circle top handle. Marked "Marcus Brothers," made in British Crown Colony of Hong Kong.
