The document is a certificate for Volunteer Friedrich Odrfer from Halle. It states that he participated in the fights with the Freikorps (Free Corps) Oberkommando Mhl. For this he receives thanks and appreciation for defending the German Reich in times of hardship. It is dated to Berlin on July 1, 1937, and signed in black ink by
