Footnote: The Battalion was raised in St. Catharines, Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Toronto under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed January 21, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel B. J. McCormick with a strength of 463
