Germany, Wehrmacht. A German Cross In Gold, Cloth Heer Version Auction with its period original pocket(Deutsches Kreuz in Gold). Instituted 28 September 1941. (1941 1945 issue). Consisting of an eight pointed radiant field grey wool star with silver wire rays, the obverse centre with a raised black embroidered mobile swastika on a white field, surrounded by a gilt laurel leaf wreath with bottom date of 1941, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in very fine condition.
