Together with the miniature in gilt and enamels

but with enough remaining on the reverse for it to be positively identified as a gold grade wound badge

An extremely well preserved Heer Officers dress dagger, measuring 40 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 26. 5 cm long nickel plated magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and edges. The reverse ricasso is stamped with the famous TIGER logo of Lauterjung & Co., Solingen. The blade sits securely within a silver plated crossguard, bearing a raised Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile
