A Promotion Certificate To Captain Signed By King Friedrich Wilhelm Iii, 1817 Auction Archive unmarked but with the physicalThe promotion certificate is named to first lieutenant Johann von Kaweczinski in the 15th Infantry Regiment (2nd Westfalian), promoting him to captain and company leader. It is dated to Berlin on July 1, 1817 and signed in black ink by King Friedrich Wilhelm III (1770 1840). 8 pages, measuring 223 mm (w) x 341 mm (h), presenting two folding creases, localised age related discolouration, and some fraying of the edges. Original wax seal is largely gone.
