Frasqueiras Pereira D’Oliveira Tinta Negra Medium Sweet (bottled 2017, 20 yo) 1997 Size::1 Bottle The palate reveals the spicesSpicy wood and dried fruit, greek honey, figs and baked earth on the nose. The palate has adobe, ripe straw, tobacco and earth and a fresh smooth mouthfeel of moderate glyceric power. Sweetness is sublimated (grapey and rich and just a bit sweet) and sits fair and square in the middle of the palate, with great tannin grip and draw and a lovely acid old wood spice length which releases a dried fruit perfume to finish.
