This empty region is home to ancient Garnacha vines planted in stony soil at high elevation. The wine that results is profoundly different from Garnacha (or Grenache) found anywhere else in the world! Vibrant and elegant, with all the fruity intensity, but none of the heft the grape is generally known for.
