Italy, Kingdom. A Medal of Military Valor, Bronze Grade, Awarded to Italian Painter Mario Tozzi Newly Listed dated 20 April 1943(Al valore militare). Instituted in 1793. In bronze, the obverse bearing the Savoy cross within a laurel wreath and mounted by a crown, encircled by the words AL VALORE MILITARE, the reverse bearing the inscription SOLDATO TOZZI MARIO in the center, MEDIO PIAVE 17 21 GIUGNO 1918 around the top and the bottom of the edge, 33. 4 mm in diameter, original ribbon, extremely fine.
