Germany, Weimar Republic. A Rare Reichswehr General’s Visor Cap, by Clemens Wagner United Republic of measuring 98 mm (w) x(Reichswehr Schirmmtze fr General). An extremely well preserved Reichswehr Generals visor cap, constructed of a fine quality field grey wool. It features reinforced sidewalls fully lined on the exterior with a green wool cap band. Both the top and bottom edges of the former are trimmed with gold bullion wire piping, while an additional length of identical piping trims the outer edge of the cap band. Pinned onto the peak is a frosted magnetic metal
