Constructed of nickel silver with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from a period original chain, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black German Red Cross (DRK) insignia in the form of a black eagle clutching a red Geneva Cross and overlaid by a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 48. 73 mm (W) x 52. 71 mm (h), weighing 23. 0
