Instituted September 16th, 1572. (c. 1900 issue). Constructed of 18kt Gold of exceptional jewelers quality, consisting of a white enameled Shamrock Cross with green enameled fans in the quadrants between the arms of the cross, suspended of a finely detailed hollow Gold crown, pierced ball suspension and dual swivel rings from its period original ribbon, unmarked but displaying the extremely fine manufacturing
